SUPPORTING NEW TO EUROPE STUDENTS

It’s time to say thanks to the organisation that has provided such a platform for the newly arrived European students. We are lucky to be the followers/ murids of the Imam of the time as we are filled with hope because we get the opportunity to interact with the global Jamat through such programmes. I would recommend more and more students to join such beneficial programmes.

IMPROVING MY CONFIDENCE

Our English language course has helped me a lot to settle into my environment, especially when I travel out of Germany. I use English language often and I feel very proud of myself. Studying English has made me feel very confident and comfortable.

LEARNING ENGLISH HELPS ME WITH THE LOCAL LANGUAGE IN MY NEW COUNTRY

I am studying in Germany. I study in German language here and sometimes I couldn’t find the meaning of some work in my mother language (Dary) then translating it into English helps me. I will try to apply for my master degree in a university where I can continue in English language.

This English course really helped us because we do not know the language of this country, but we can use the English language to communicate. I feel that my English is getting better. Now in the German classes, I can solve same of my problems using English

HELPING ME CARRY OUT MY JAMATI DUTIES

I enjoy the English language course very much. I am working as social support Volunteer member. And we don’t have any Ismaili council here in Germany, all Jamati events or plans are covered by UK council. So all our meetings, emails etc. must be in English language. This course helped me a lot in carrying out my Jamat Khana duties.

HOW JOINING HEAD START HAS HELPED ME

  1. I learnt English before and I have learned that my understanding of English grammar in the past was horrible.
  2. I have learned to never give up.
  3. I have learned to be easy on myself when it takes forever to pass a level
  4. I have learned to enjoy the course.

I think this course has given me hope. I have been on this course for one and half years and I would like to continue this course forever. Thanks to all of teachers to helped me.
